Mental Health Deputy Project Manager-Sutton-£24,196pa

Mental Health Deputy Project Manager required to support the Project Manager and the team in one of our client's Care Quality Commission Registered Accommodation Projects and cluster projects in Sutton. The Deputy Project Manager will work with and deputise for the Project Manager where appropriate. They are responsible for supporting the Project Manager to manage a team of up to 10 people who will support up to 11 clients within a registered residential/ supported living project. Along with the Project Manager you will also be responsible for up to 13 clients within one of the supported housing/ housing management projects.

You will be working with people to help them to achieve and maintain their maximum potential for managing their wellbeing, increasing their confidence and leading a life that they choose and value. We are looking for an experienced person with a Qualified Credit Framework Diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. You must be motivated and have good communication and administration skills.


Job Role:


-To ensure the project delivers service to clients that provide a hopeful environment and promotes their recovery.

- To work with clients to develop a support plan

- To offer support and the option for clients develop a; crisis plan, a person centred plan and wellness recovery action plan.

- To liaise with the community and statutory services, in order to facilitate the goal of encouraging greater participation and integration within the community for clients.

- To ensure clients are encouraged and supported to be involved in the running of their home.

- To ensure appropriate and necessary record keeping systems are implemented, maintained and reviewed.


Candidate Profile:

-Experience of working in a residential setting

- Experience of Support planning, care programme approach and care management

- Ability to communicate effectively with service users, colleagues, trustees and external agencies

- Ability to write clear reports

- Ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate the ability to organise own workload and set priorities - Ability to use the computer to produce reports and relevant documentation

- Ability, understanding and willingness to work as part of a team

- Ability to engage with and motivate people

-QCF Diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

- Understanding quality assurance systems and monitoring

- Personal attributes A respectful and positive attitude to differences and an understanding of mainstreaming diversity and equality

- Commitment to promoting good practice

- Flexibility in approach

- Able to do shift work, sleep-ins and on-call for the project




Hours – 38 hours

Salary - £24,196 per annum

Location – Sutton

Holiday – 29 days (plus bank holidays)
